Summary

Responsible for all golf course maintenance, daily operations, irrigation systems, equipment care, clubhouse oversight, and staff supervision for Council Greens. Serves as the primary point of contact for the HOA Board, Idaho Golf Association, local community, and vendors.

Core Responsibilities

Course & Grounds

  • Maintain greens, fairways, roughs, trees, and clubhouse grounds.
  • Operate, monitor, and repair irrigation systems, valves, rotors, pumps, and seasonal ditch water.
  • Perform mowing, trimming, debris removal, weed control, and seasonal tasks (spring setup, fall blowout, winterization).
  • Maintain equipment and schedule repairs

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Effective, tactful communication with public, staff, and HOA members.
  • Ability to operate and maintain golf course equipment and hand tools.
  • Safe application of herbicides and fungicides.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Idaho driver’s license.
  • Experience with commercial lawn care, equipment operation, and staff direction preferred.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork, and diplomacy.

Compensation

  • TBD (based on experience)
