Tournament and Marketing Specialist [Position Has Been Filled]

Council Greens Golf Course in Council, ID is seeking a dynamic Tournament and Marketing Specialist to join our team for the 2025 season!

As our Tournament and Marketing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in the success of our seven exciting tournaments held from May to October. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, planning, and executing all aspects of Council Greens and other charity tournaments (ranging from 50-100 participants per event).
• Creating and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote tournaments and attract participants, utilizing channels such as social media, email marketing, and community outreach.
• Managing the clubhouse on Saturdays and Sundays, providing exceptional customer service, checking in golfers, promoting upcoming tournaments, and handling payments.

This is a seasonal, part-time position with approximately 15-20 hours per week, primarily on weekends, 10 AM to 6 PM.. This role offers significant potential for growth within our organization, with opportunities for increased responsibilities and hours based on performance.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong organizational, event planning, and time management skills.
• Possesses experience in marketing and promotion.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is proficient in social media platforms.
• Has a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
• Knowledge of golf is a definite plus!
• Is available to work weekends from April 5 to October 26.
